DIY Celestial Fall Wreath

When I created this wreath last year, I had no idea it would become my most popular post by FAR. Keeping that in mind, I decided to make this new DIY celestial Fall wreath. This project is simple, fun, and would make the perfect addition to your Autumn decor. Below are the materials needed and instructions for making your own DIY celestial Fall wreath.

Materials

Instructions

  1. Cut the cardboard into a half moon shape using the gold frame as a size guide.
  2. Cut each mum off the bunch leaving about 3-4″ of the stem attached.
  3. Cut the gold leaves into pieces that you can spread around the wreath. I cut each stem into 3 separate parts.
  4. Spread the mums evenly to cover the half moon piece of cardboard. When you are happy with the placement, start sticking the stems of each mum into the cardboard.
  5. When you have all the mums attached, place the gold leaves in between the flowers as a filler.
  6. Detach the clip from the moon barrette.
  7. Using the leather rope, tie a knot on the moon barrette and attach the other end of the leather rope to the bottom of the wreath frame.
  8. Hang your DIY celestial Fall wreath and enjoy!
