Practical Home Office Inspiration
Our home office is one of the most used and least photographed areas of our house. If you scroll down a bit you’ll understand why! It’s a big ol’ mess. So today I’m going to share some practical home office inspiration to kick off the start of the makeover process. I’ve started other projects in our house this way and I believe a mood board is so essential for any home renovation. Our goal is to complete this room by the time Spring is here. It’s somehow already the end of January, so we need to get moving!
Colin was working from home two days a week before the pandemic started and changed to fully remote in mid-March of last year. That means that he uses our office for about 40 hours a week. I don’t know how he can stand being in there all day with all our junk, but it’s time to make him a nice space to work in! Unlike a lot of “offices” on Pinterest and Instagram, this one actually has to function as an office. That means multiple monitors, a couple computers, and other various office supplies. As much as I want it to be pretty, it is more important that it is practical. Below is a picture of the office today, as well as a few not so practical home office inspiration pictures. A girl can dream!
